4 Members of Rivkin Radler Receive Leadership in Law Awards
November 18, 2022Rivkin Radler is proud to announce that four members of the law firm, Rivkin Radler LLP, received Leadership in Law awards from Long Island Business News. The awards recognize individuals who demonstrate dedication, hard work, skill, tenacity and excellence, along with leadership qualities in both the legal profession and in the community.
The following honorees were recognized at an event on November 17, 2022, at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
The awardees and their respective categories are as follows:
Barry I. Levy – Partner
Bernadette Kasnicki – Counsel
Siobhain Minarovich – Associate
Tracey McIntyre – Unsung Hero
Barry is a partner in the firm’s Commercial Liability, Employment & Labor and Insurance Fraud practice groups. He litigates complex insurance, healthcare, financial services and labor/employment actions on behalf of institutional and individual clients. Barry has tried dozens of complex cases over the course of his career. He received a JD degree from Ohio State University College of Law and a BA from The Ohio State University and Oxford University.
Bernadette is counsel in Rivkin Radler’s Corporate; Personal, Family & Business Planning; and Tax practice groups. She advises business clients on a range of tax matters relating to corporations, LLCs, partnerships, public charities and private foundations. She drafts and negotiates transactional documents, including acquisition agreements, merger agreements, operating agreements and shareholders’ agreements. Bernadette is a member of the boards of directors of Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation and the Child Care Council of Nassau. She received an Executive LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law, a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA from Georgetown University Law Center.
Siobhain is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Coverage practice. concentrates her practice on insurance coverage litigation and related counseling. She represents insurers in a wide range of coverage and litigation matters in New York state and federal courts, as well as state and federal courts throughout the United States. Minarovich serves on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations – Forestdale, Inc., which provides foster care, preventative and other services to families in New York City, and Community Mainstreaming Associates, Inc., an organization that provides residential programs, day programs and other services to individuals on Long Island with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Siobhain received a JD from Fordham University School of Law and an MPA and BA from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
Tracey is the firm’s Director of Legal Talent. She has almost 18 years of law firm experience in the areas of legal recruiting and marketing. Tracey is charged with planning, designing and implementing the firm’s professional development initiatives, including training, career development, mentoring and performance reviews. Additionally, she counsels the firm’s attorneys on professional development and employee relations issues. Tracey also oversees the firm’s attorney and paralegal recruiting efforts. Finally, she spearheaded Rivkin Radler’s Women’s Initiative and Development, Diversity & Inclusion committees. Tracey received a BS from Penn State University.
