Krinick Discusses NY Appeals Court’s Stance toward Insurance Carriers

After completing a statistical analysis of the decisions, Evan concluded that while New York is a good venue for insurers to litigate in, there is still opportunity for policyholders to prevail. This counters the prevailing wisdom that New York is an overwhelmingly pro-carrier jurisdiction.
