Rivkin Radler Welcomes 4 New Associates

Evan H. Krinick, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, is pleased to announce that Jonah Blumenthal, Mary Connolly, Edwin Maldonado, and Lauren Russo have joined the firm as Associates.

Jonah Blumenthal, of West Hempstead, NY, has joined the Personal, Family & Business Planning Practice Group, resident in the Uniondale office. Jonah assists clients with the preparation of a variety of estate and tax planning documents including wills, powers of attorney, healthcare proxies and both revocable and irrevocable trusts. Prior to joining the firm, Jonah was an associate at a Long Island law firm and received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.

Mary Connolly, of Niskayuna, NY, has joined the firm as an Associate in the Health Services Practice Group, resident in the Albany office. Mary has represented a wide variety of healthcare providers and trade associations, including adult homes, home care agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and developmental disability providers in litigation, regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mary was an associate at a law firm in Albany and received her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law.

Edwin Maldonado, of Seaford, NY, has joined the firm as an Associate in the firm’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group, resident in the Uniondale office. Before joining the firm, Edwin served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where he handled all the phases of prosecution including criminal investigations, grand jury presentment, pre-trial evidentiary hearings, and trials. Edwin received his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law.

Lauren Russo, of Glen Head, NY, has joined the firm as an Associate in the Complex Torts & Product Liability Practice Group, resident in the Uniondale office. Lauren has handled matters involving the defense of church and charitable institutions, health care and nursing liability, and the defense of medical malpractice matters. Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Lauren was an associate at a Long Island based law firm and is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law.
